I'm not gonna lie, I love watching American Idol. I only missed one season because I lost interest that year but I've been watching ... although I'm not entirely impressed but this season's group. They keep saying it's the best year EVER but I don't believe them, I don't see anyone with that spark and amazing star quality. Of course, it's still pretty early to tell ... however I'll say that there are those I see the major potential in (*ahem* Andrew Garcia, Didi Benami, Michael Lynche, Alex Lambert). Let's hope they can bring it soon!
Anyway, let's go back a few years to the second season. I loved Clay Aiken but I also really loved this girl: Kimberly Caldwell. She had this awesome voice, she could go from this rocker grit to a gorgeous full voice and today she was on Ellen! I got so excited when I heard she was FINALLY releasing a debut album. She sang this song "Mess of You" (

Her voice has definitely gotten a lot stronger and grittier which I adore and I'm really enjoying the lyrics of this song. I hope the rest of her songs on the album are this good or better.

(I swear, just because this is the second song I've described as a "get back at those stupid ex-boyfriends" I don't have issues. I just think they're relevant! hahaha)
